Led by Sabrina Johnson, every FLOAT Flora design carries a rhythm -- an understanding of movement and form developed through Sabrina’s years as a dancer. Translating the grounded into the ethereal has become FLOAT’s signature airy style.
Sabrina pursued a Masters in Arts Administration, and was a natural relationship builder through her time in development work at museums and dance companies. Planning gallery openings, opening nights, wine festivals and fundraising events stirred the passion for artful and intentional soirées. A love of an editorial aesthetic manifested in the pursuit of a fashion marketing certification from the London College of Fashion. After some traveling and cross country relocations, falling in love with a wedding photographer from Africa, she started chasing light, styling brides and discovered a passion for unconventional blooms, artfully arranged. Sabrina now blends this background in art, fashion, culture and dance into her distinctive botanical arrangements and installations.
